Lamda Exams for your child

Theatre Works are proud to offer LAMDA exams to students who have been taking class at Theatre Works for one year or more. Our one to one LAMDA sessions take place on a Monday and Tuesday with our wonderful LAMDA teacher Georgia. They run for 30 minutes each session. Our first group of LAMDA exams took place at the LAMDA school in London in Jan 2020. Every one of our 12 students scored distinction in their exams(which is the highest possible mark)since then we have continued to receive excellent marks and we are so proud of all of our LAMDA exam students.

LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies.  They have been offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years. Their qualifications have helped hundreds of thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills.

LAMDA exams are about achievement – recognising and rewarding the endeavours of each individual – but they are also about empowerment. Their ultimate aim is to provide all people with the opportunity to develop the life skills they need to be a success: attributes such as self-confidence and the ability to communicate clearly and present ideas.
